How they compare

Czechoslovakia currently reports 12.52 kg/ha against 6 kg/ha in Africa, a difference of 6.52 kg/ha.

That makes Czechoslovakia's figure about 2.1 times Africa's.

Across all 32 years both countries report, Czechoslovakia has been ahead every year.

Africa ranks 19th and Czechoslovakia ranks 20th of 38 groups.

Czechoslovakia has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Africa Czechoslovakia Difference Ahead
1960s 3.42 kg/ha 11.5 kg/ha 8.08 kg/ha Czechoslovakia
1970s 4.1 kg/ha 14.09 kg/ha 9.99 kg/ha Czechoslovakia
1980s 4.77 kg/ha 14.77 kg/ha 10 kg/ha Czechoslovakia
1990s 5.28 kg/ha 13.41 kg/ha 8.13 kg/ha Czechoslovakia

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
