How they compare

Pakistan currently reports 15.84 kg/ha against 6.55 kg/ha in Americas, a difference of 9.29 kg/ha.

That makes Pakistan's figure about 2.4 times Americas's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Americas ahead.

Americas ranks 8th and Pakistan ranks 16th of 10 groups.

Across the 7 decades both report, Americas averaged higher in 2 and Pakistan in 5.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
