Americas vs Republic of Korea: Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Americas
- Republic of Korea
How they compare
Republic of Korea currently reports 15.51 kg/ha against 6.55 kg/ha in Americas, a difference of 8.96 kg/ha.
That makes Republic of Korea's figure about 2.4 times Americas's.
The two have swapped places 3 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Americas ahead.
Americas ranks 15th and Republic of Korea ranks 17th of 29 groups.
Across the 7 decades both report, Americas averaged higher in 2 and Republic of Korea in 5.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
