How they compare

Israel currently reports 23.7 kg/ha against 15.46 kg/ha in Asia, a difference of 8.24 kg/ha.

That makes Israel's figure about 1.5 times Asia's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Asia ahead.

Asia ranks 3rd and Israel ranks 6th of 38 regions.

Across the 7 decades both report, Asia averaged higher in 2 and Israel in 5.

Head to head by decade

Decade Asia Israel Difference Ahead
1960s 5.43 kg/ha 5.23 kg/ha 0.1995 kg/ha Asia
1970s 6.54 kg/ha 6.5 kg/ha 0.0427 kg/ha Asia
1980s 8.94 kg/ha 9.46 kg/ha 0.5246 kg/ha Israel

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
