Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Northern America: Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Northern America
How they compare
Bosnia and Herzegovina currently reports 20.31 kg/ha against 6.8 kg/ha in Northern America, a difference of 13.51 kg/ha.
That makes Bosnia and Herzegovina's figure about 3.0 times Northern America's.
The two have swapped places 4 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Bosnia and Herzegovina ahead.
Bosnia and Herzegovina ranks 8th and Northern America ranks 12th of 186 countries.
Across the 4 decades both report, Bosnia and Herzegovina averaged higher in 3 and Northern America in 1.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
