Central Asia vs Czechia: Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Central Asia
- Czechia
How they compare
Czechia currently reports 10.86 kg/ha against 2.95 kg/ha in Central Asia, a difference of 7.91 kg/ha.
That makes Czechia's figure about 3.7 times Central Asia's.
Across all 31 years both countries report, Czechia has been ahead every year.
Central Asia ranks 28th and Czechia ranks 26th of 29 groups.
Czechia has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Central Asia | Czechia | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1990s | 3.6 kg/ha | 12.41 kg/ha | 8.81 kg/ha | Czechia |
| 2000s | 3.13 kg/ha | 12.59 kg/ha | 9.46 kg/ha | Czechia |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
