Central Asia vs Hungary: Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Central Asia
- Hungary
How they compare
Hungary currently reports 10.19 kg/ha against 2.95 kg/ha in Central Asia, a difference of 7.24 kg/ha.
That makes Hungary's figure about 3.5 times Central Asia's.
Across all 63 years both countries report, Hungary has been ahead every year.
Central Asia ranks 33rd and Hungary ranks 28th of 38 groups.
Hungary has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Central Asia | Hungary | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
