How they compare

Czechia currently reports 10.86 kg/ha against 10.09 kg/ha in Slovakia, a difference of 0.77 kg/ha.

That makes Czechia's figure about 1.1 times Slovakia's.

Across all 31 years both countries report, Czechia has been ahead every year.

Czechia ranks 26th and Slovakia ranks 29th of 186 countries.

Czechia has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Czechia Slovakia Difference Ahead
1990s 12.41 kg/ha 10.62 kg/ha 1.8 kg/ha Czechia
2000s 12.59 kg/ha 10.79 kg/ha 1.8 kg/ha Czechia
2010s 11.82 kg/ha 10.15 kg/ha 1.67 kg/ha Czechia
2020s 11.05 kg/ha 10.01 kg/ha 1.03 kg/ha Czechia

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
