Dominican Republic vs Kyrgyzstan: Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Dominican Republic
- Kyrgyzstan
How they compare
Dominican Republic currently reports 3.56 kg/ha against 3.3 kg/ha in Kyrgyzstan, a difference of 0.26 kg/ha.
That makes Dominican Republic's figure about 1.1 times Kyrgyzstan's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Kyrgyzstan ahead.
Dominican Republic ranks 148th and Kyrgyzstan ranks 150th of 186 countries.
Dominican Republic has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Dominican Republic | Kyrgyzstan | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1990s | 3.61 kg/ha | 3.32 kg/ha | 0.2974 kg/ha | Dominican Republic |
| 2000s | 4.39 kg/ha | 2.91 kg/ha | 1.48 kg/ha | Dominican Republic |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
