Hungary vs Small island developing States (SIDS): Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Hungary
- Small island developing States (SIDS)
How they compare
Hungary currently reports 10.19 kg/ha against 4.51 kg/ha in Small island developing States (SIDS), a difference of 5.68 kg/ha.
That makes Hungary's figure about 2.3 times Small island developing States (SIDS)'s.
Across all 63 years both countries report, Hungary has been ahead every year.
Hungary ranks 28th and Small island developing States (SIDS) ranks 30th of 185 countries.
Hungary has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
