Mauritius vs Paraguay: Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Mauritius
- Paraguay
How they compare
Paraguay currently reports 6.63 kg/ha against 6.17 kg/ha in Mauritius, a difference of 0.46 kg/ha.
That makes Paraguay's figure about 1.1 times Mauritius's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Paraguay ahead.
Mauritius ranks 85th and Paraguay ranks 82nd of 186 countries.
Paraguay has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Mauritius | Paraguay | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
