How they compare

Myanmar currently reports 9.62 kg/ha against 9.09 kg/ha in Togo, a difference of 0.53 kg/ha.

That makes Myanmar's figure about 1.1 times Togo's.

The two have swapped places 4 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Myanmar ahead.

Myanmar ranks 33rd and Togo ranks 36th of 185 countries.

Across the 7 decades both report, Myanmar averaged higher in 4 and Togo in 3.

Head to head by decade

Decade Myanmar Togo Difference Ahead

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
