How they compare

Turkmenistan currently reports 2.79 kg/ha against 2.52 kg/ha in Senegal, a difference of 0.27 kg/ha.

That makes Turkmenistan's figure about 1.1 times Senegal's.

Across all 32 years both countries report, Turkmenistan has been ahead every year.

Senegal ranks 164th and Turkmenistan ranks 161st of 186 countries.

Turkmenistan has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Senegal Turkmenistan Difference Ahead
1990s 2.13 kg/ha 2.83 kg/ha 0.6977 kg/ha Turkmenistan
2000s 2.28 kg/ha 2.6 kg/ha 0.3162 kg/ha Turkmenistan
2010s 2.41 kg/ha 2.78 kg/ha 0.3753 kg/ha Turkmenistan
2020s 2.51 kg/ha 2.76 kg/ha 0.2578 kg/ha Turkmenistan

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
