Eritrea vs Liberia: Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Eritrea
- Liberia
How they compare
Liberia currently reports 3,923 t against 3,057 t in Eritrea, a difference of 866 t.
That makes Liberia's figure about 1.3 times Eritrea's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 31 shared years of data; in 1993 it was Eritrea ahead.
Eritrea ranks 119th and Liberia ranks 117th of 185 countries.
Liberia has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Eritrea | Liberia | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1990s | 2,127 t | 2,457 t | 330.11 t | Liberia |
| 2000s | 2,746 t | 3,995 t | 1,249 t | Liberia |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
