Lesotho vs Mongolia: Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Lesotho
- Mongolia
How they compare
Lesotho currently reports 2,144 t against 2,014 t in Mongolia, a difference of 130 t.
That makes Lesotho's figure about 1.1 times Mongolia's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Mongolia ahead.
Lesotho ranks 139th and Mongolia ranks 140th of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Lesotho averaged higher in 1 and Mongolia in 6.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
