Niger vs Small island developing States (SIDS): Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen
Atmospheric deposition — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Niger
- Small island developing States (SIDS)
How they compare
Niger currently reports 75,218 t against 45,212 t in Small island developing States (SIDS), a difference of 30,006 t.
That makes Niger's figure about 1.7 times Small island developing States (SIDS)'s.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Niger ahead.
Niger ranks 32nd and Small island developing States (SIDS) ranks 31st of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Niger averaged higher in 5 and Small island developing States (SIDS) in 2.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
