How they compare

Paraguay currently reports 146.87 kg/ha against 63.72 kg/ha in Americas, a difference of 83.15 kg/ha.

That makes Paraguay's figure about 2.3 times Americas's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Americas ahead.

Americas ranks 2nd and Paraguay ranks 3rd of 32 groups.

Across the 7 decades both report, Americas averaged higher in 1 and Paraguay in 6.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
