Bahamas vs Indonesia: Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Bahamas
- Indonesia
How they compare
Bahamas currently reports 8.31 kg/ha against 7.82 kg/ha in Indonesia, a difference of 0.49 kg/ha.
That makes Bahamas's figure about 1.1 times Indonesia's.
The two have swapped places 7 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Indonesia ahead.
Bahamas ranks 74th and Indonesia ranks 76th of 176 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Bahamas averaged higher in 1 and Indonesia in 6.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Bahamas | Indonesia | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1960s | 8.35 kg/ha | 14.59 kg/ha | 6.24 kg/ha | Indonesia |
| 1970s | 13.79 kg/ha | 15.22 kg/ha | 1.42 kg/ha | Indonesia |
| 1980s | 15.43 kg/ha | 15.8 kg/ha | 0.3667 kg/ha | Indonesia |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
