How they compare

Belize currently reports 28.58 kg/ha against 14.61 kg/ha in Central African Republic, a difference of 13.97 kg/ha.

That makes Belize's figure about 2.0 times Central African Republic's.

The two have swapped places 3 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Central African Republic ahead.

Belize ranks 15th and Central African Republic ranks 15th of 191 countries.

Belize has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
