Belize vs South-Eastern Asia: Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Belize
- South-Eastern Asia
How they compare
Belize currently reports 28.58 kg/ha against 14.92 kg/ha in South-Eastern Asia, a difference of 13.66 kg/ha.
That makes Belize's figure about 1.9 times South-Eastern Asia's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was South-Eastern Asia ahead.
Belize ranks 15th and South-Eastern Asia ranks 13th of 191 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Belize averaged higher in 1 and South-Eastern Asia in 6.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
