Cabo Verde vs Chad: Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Cabo Verde
- Chad
How they compare
Cabo Verde currently reports 17.51 kg/ha against 15.83 kg/ha in Chad, a difference of 1.68 kg/ha.
That makes Cabo Verde's figure about 1.1 times Chad's.
The two have swapped places 10 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Cabo Verde ahead.
Cabo Verde ranks 33rd and Chad ranks 36th of 191 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Cabo Verde averaged higher in 5 and Chad in 2.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Cabo Verde | Chad | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
