Czechia vs Greece: Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Czechia
- Greece
How they compare
Greece currently reports 4.3 kg/ha against 4.03 kg/ha in Czechia, a difference of 0.27 kg/ha.
That makes Greece's figure about 1.1 times Czechia's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 31 shared years of data; in 1993 it was Czechia ahead.
Czechia ranks 115th and Greece ranks 113th of 191 countries.
Across the 4 decades both report, Czechia averaged higher in 3 and Greece in 1.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Czechia | Greece | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1990s | 2.69 kg/ha | 0.863 kg/ha | 1.83 kg/ha | Czechia |
| 2000s | 1.9 kg/ha | 0.8345 kg/ha | 1.06 kg/ha | Czechia |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
