How they compare

Czechia currently reports 4.03 kg/ha against 3.8 kg/ha in Mexico, a difference of 0.23 kg/ha.

That makes Czechia's figure about 1.1 times Mexico's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 31 shared years of data; in 1993 it was Mexico ahead.

Czechia ranks 115th and Mexico ranks 117th of 191 countries.

Mexico has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Czechia Mexico Difference Ahead
1990s 2.69 kg/ha 5.28 kg/ha 2.59 kg/ha Mexico
2000s 1.9 kg/ha 4.45 kg/ha 2.55 kg/ha Mexico
2010s 2.18 kg/ha 5.38 kg/ha 3.19 kg/ha Mexico
2020s 3.74 kg/ha 4.61 kg/ha 0.8726 kg/ha Mexico

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
