How they compare

Niger currently reports 4.44 kg/ha against 4.03 kg/ha in Czechia, a difference of 0.41 kg/ha.

That makes Niger's figure about 1.1 times Czechia's.

The two have swapped places 5 times across 31 shared years of data; in 1993 it was Czechia ahead.

Czechia ranks 115th and Niger ranks 112th of 191 countries.

Across the 4 decades both report, Czechia averaged higher in 1 and Niger in 3.

Head to head by decade

Decade Czechia Niger Difference Ahead

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
