How they compare

Greece currently reports 4.3 kg/ha against 4.07 kg/ha in Lebanon, a difference of 0.23 kg/ha.

That makes Greece's figure about 1.1 times Lebanon's.

The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Greece ahead.

Greece ranks 113th and Lebanon ranks 114th of 191 countries.

Across the 7 decades both report, Greece averaged higher in 1 and Lebanon in 6.

Head to head by decade

Decade Greece Lebanon Difference Ahead

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
