How they compare

Guinea-Bissau currently reports 23.48 kg/ha against 7.17 kg/ha in Small island developing States (SIDS), a difference of 16.31 kg/ha.

That makes Guinea-Bissau's figure about 3.3 times Small island developing States (SIDS)'s.

The two have swapped places 4 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Guinea-Bissau ahead.

Guinea-Bissau ranks 19th and Small island developing States (SIDS) ranks 19th of 176 countries.

Across the 7 decades both report, Guinea-Bissau averaged higher in 6 and Small island developing States (SIDS) in 1.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
