How they compare

Uzbekistan currently reports 1.73 kg/ha against 1.2 kg/ha in Lesotho, a difference of 0.53 kg/ha.

That makes Uzbekistan's figure about 1.4 times Lesotho's.

The two have swapped places 6 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Uzbekistan ahead.

Lesotho ranks 146th and Uzbekistan ranks 143rd of 176 countries.

Across the 4 decades both report, Lesotho averaged higher in 2 and Uzbekistan in 2.

Head to head by decade

Decade Lesotho Uzbekistan Difference Ahead
1990s 1.72 kg/ha 1.24 kg/ha 0.4834 kg/ha Lesotho
2000s 1.76 kg/ha 0.768 kg/ha 0.9962 kg/ha Lesotho
2010s 1.28 kg/ha 1.36 kg/ha 0.085 kg/ha Uzbekistan
2020s 1.9 kg/ha 1.91 kg/ha 0.0131 kg/ha Uzbekistan

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
