Libya vs Papua New Guinea: Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Libya
- Papua New Guinea
How they compare
Libya currently reports 0.7362 kg/ha against 0.6878 kg/ha in Papua New Guinea, a difference of 0.0484 kg/ha.
That makes Libya's figure about 1.1 times Papua New Guinea's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Papua New Guinea ahead.
Libya ranks 169th and Papua New Guinea ranks 170th of 191 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Libya averaged higher in 6 and Papua New Guinea in 1.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
