How they compare

Mauritius currently reports 11.63 kg/ha against 10.98 kg/ha in Sudan, a difference of 0.65 kg/ha.

That makes Mauritius's figure about 1.1 times Sudan's.

The two have swapped places 2 times across 12 shared years of data; in 2012 it was Mauritius ahead.

Mauritius ranks 59th and Sudan ranks 62nd of 191 countries.

Across the 2 decades both report, Mauritius averaged higher in 1 and Sudan in 1.

Head to head by decade

Decade Mauritius Sudan Difference Ahead
2010s 16.34 kg/ha 10.06 kg/ha 6.27 kg/ha Mauritius
2020s 12.98 kg/ha 13.23 kg/ha 0.2475 kg/ha Sudan

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
