Myanmar vs Viet Nam: Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Biological fixation — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Myanmar
- Viet Nam
How they compare
Myanmar currently reports 42.66 kg/ha against 19.57 kg/ha in Viet Nam, a difference of 23.09 kg/ha.
That makes Myanmar's figure about 2.2 times Viet Nam's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Viet Nam ahead.
Myanmar ranks 5th and Viet Nam ranks 3rd of 176 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Myanmar averaged higher in 3 and Viet Nam in 4.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Myanmar | Viet Nam | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
