Colombia vs Low income: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Agriculture
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Agriculture over time
- Colombia
- Low income
How they compare
Low income currently reports 1.08 Mt CO2e against 0.4654 Mt CO2e in Colombia, a difference of 0.6146 Mt CO2e.
That makes Low income's figure about 2.3 times Colombia's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Low income ahead.
Colombia ranks 40th and Low income ranks 41st of 109 countries.
Low income has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Colombia | Low income | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1970s | 0.1708 Mt CO2e | 1.07 Mt CO2e | 0.9017 Mt CO2e | Low income |
| 1980s | 0.2595 Mt CO2e | 1.68 Mt CO2e | 1.42 Mt CO2e | Low income |
| 1990s | 0.3815 Mt CO2e | 1.26 Mt CO2e | 0.8808 Mt CO2e | Low income |
| 2000s | 0.447 Mt CO2e | 0.8292 Mt CO2e | 0.3822 Mt CO2e | Low income |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the agricultural sector. This includes emissions from livestock (IPCC 2006 codes 3.A.1 (enteric fermentation, 3.a.2 (manure management) and crops (IPCC 2006 codes 3.C.1 Emissions from biomass burning, 3.C.2 Liming, 3.C.3 Urea application, 3.C.4 Direct N2O Emissions from managed soils, 3.C.5 Indirect N2O Emissions from managed soils, 3.C.6 Indirect N2O Emissions from manure management, 3.C.7 Rice cultivations). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
