How they compare

Myanmar currently reports 1.67 Mt CO2e against 1.33 Mt CO2e in Poland, a difference of 0.34 Mt CO2e.

That makes Myanmar's figure about 1.3 times Poland's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Poland ahead.

Myanmar ranks 19th and Poland ranks 22nd of 109 countries.

Poland has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Myanmar Poland Difference Ahead
1970s 0.0722 Mt CO2e 2.76 Mt CO2e 2.69 Mt CO2e Poland
1980s 0.1553 Mt CO2e 3.42 Mt CO2e 3.26 Mt CO2e Poland
1990s 0.15 Mt CO2e 1.67 Mt CO2e 1.52 Mt CO2e Poland
2000s 0.1275 Mt CO2e 1.71 Mt CO2e 1.58 Mt CO2e Poland
2010s 0.3946 Mt CO2e 1.91 Mt CO2e 1.51 Mt CO2e Poland
2020s 1.35 Mt CO2e 1.6 Mt CO2e 0.244 Mt CO2e Poland

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the agricultural sector. This includes emissions from livestock (IPCC 2006 codes 3.A.1 (enteric fermentation, 3.a.2 (manure management) and crops (IPCC 2006 codes 3.C.1 Emissions from biomass burning, 3.C.2 Liming, 3.C.3 Urea application, 3.C.4 Direct N2O Emissions from managed soils, 3.C.5 Indirect N2O Emissions from managed soils, 3.C.6 Indirect N2O Emissions from manure management, 3.C.7 Rice cultivations). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
