How they compare

Cambodia currently reports 2.98 Mt CO2e against 2.83 Mt CO2e in Jordan, a difference of 0.15 Mt CO2e.

That makes Cambodia's figure about 1.1 times Jordan's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Jordan ahead.

Cambodia ranks 80th and Jordan ranks 81st of 193 countries.

Across the 6 decades both report, Cambodia averaged higher in 1 and Jordan in 5.

Head to head by decade

A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from industrial combustion (subsector of the energy sector) including IPCC 2006 code 1.A.2 Manufacturing Industries and Construction. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
