Albania vs Azerbaijan: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Albania
- Azerbaijan
How they compare
Albania currently reports 0.0029 Mt CO2e against 0.0025 Mt CO2e in Azerbaijan, a difference of 0.0004 Mt CO2e.
That makes Albania's figure about 1.2 times Azerbaijan's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Azerbaijan ahead.
Albania ranks 52nd and Azerbaijan ranks 54th of 101 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Albania averaged higher in 3 and Azerbaijan in 3.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
