Argentina vs Cambodia: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Argentina
- Cambodia
How they compare
Cambodia currently reports 0.0133 Mt CO2e against 0.0121 Mt CO2e in Argentina, a difference of 0.0012 Mt CO2e.
That makes Cambodia's figure about 1.1 times Argentina's.
The two have swapped places 3 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Argentina ahead.
Argentina ranks 34th and Cambodia ranks 33rd of 100 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Argentina averaged higher in 5 and Cambodia in 1.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Argentina | Cambodia | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
