Belarus vs IDA blend: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Belarus
- IDA blend
How they compare
Belarus currently reports 0.0073 Mt CO2e against 0.0031 Mt CO2e in IDA blend, a difference of 0.0042 Mt CO2e.
That makes Belarus's figure about 2.4 times IDA blend's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Belarus has been ahead every year.
Belarus ranks 41st and IDA blend ranks 43rd of 100 countries.
Belarus has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
