Belgium vs Honduras: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Belgium
- Honduras
How they compare
Honduras currently reports 0.0342 Mt CO2e against 0.0203 Mt CO2e in Belgium, a difference of 0.0139 Mt CO2e.
That makes Honduras's figure about 1.7 times Belgium's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Belgium ahead.
Belgium ranks 24th and Honduras ranks 21st of 100 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Belgium averaged higher in 4 and Honduras in 2.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Belgium | Honduras | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
