Cambodia vs Mali: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Cambodia
- Mali
How they compare
Cambodia currently reports 0.0133 Mt CO2e against 0.0115 Mt CO2e in Mali, a difference of 0.0018 Mt CO2e.
That makes Cambodia's figure about 1.2 times Mali's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Cambodia ahead.
Cambodia ranks 33rd and Mali ranks 35th of 100 countries.
Cambodia has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Cambodia | Mali | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
