Colombia vs IDA total: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Colombia
- IDA total
How they compare
IDA total currently reports 0.1326 Mt CO2e against 0.0191 Mt CO2e in Colombia, a difference of 0.1135 Mt CO2e.
That makes IDA total's figure about 6.9 times Colombia's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, IDA total has been ahead every year.
Colombia ranks 27th and IDA total ranks 25th of 100 countries.
IDA total has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Colombia | IDA total | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
