Czechia vs Singapore: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Czechia
- Singapore
How they compare
Czechia currently reports 0.0537 Mt CO2e against 0.0422 Mt CO2e in Singapore, a difference of 0.0115 Mt CO2e.
That makes Czechia's figure about 1.3 times Singapore's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Singapore ahead.
Czechia ranks 17th and Singapore ranks 20th of 100 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Czechia averaged higher in 4 and Singapore in 2.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
