Germany vs Lower middle income: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Germany
- Lower middle income
How they compare
Lower middle income currently reports 0.1364 Mt CO2e against 0.0309 Mt CO2e in Germany, a difference of 0.1055 Mt CO2e.
That makes Lower middle income's figure about 4.4 times Germany's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 54 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Germany ahead.
Germany ranks 22nd and Lower middle income ranks 24th of 100 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Germany averaged higher in 5 and Lower middle income in 1.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Germany | Lower middle income | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
