Hungary vs Slovenia: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Hungary
- Slovenia
How they compare
Hungary currently reports 0.0069 Mt CO2e against 0.0045 Mt CO2e in Slovenia, a difference of 0.0024 Mt CO2e.
That makes Hungary's figure about 1.5 times Slovenia's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Hungary has been ahead every year.
Hungary ranks 43rd and Slovenia ranks 46th of 100 countries.
Hungary has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
