IDA blend vs Slovenia: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- IDA blend
- Slovenia
How they compare
Slovenia currently reports 0.0045 Mt CO2e against 0.0031 Mt CO2e in IDA blend, a difference of 0.0014 Mt CO2e.
That makes Slovenia's figure about 1.5 times IDA blend's.
The two have swapped places 4 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Slovenia ahead.
IDA blend ranks 41st and Slovenia ranks 46th of 45 groups.
Across the 6 decades both report, IDA blend averaged higher in 3 and Slovenia in 3.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
