IDA only vs Thailand: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- IDA only
- Thailand
How they compare
IDA only currently reports 0.1295 Mt CO2e against 0.0191 Mt CO2e in Thailand, a difference of 0.1104 Mt CO2e.
That makes IDA only's figure about 6.8 times Thailand's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, IDA only has been ahead every year.
IDA only ranks 26th and Thailand ranks 27th of 46 groups.
IDA only has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
