Myanmar vs Singapore: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Waste over time
- Myanmar
- Singapore
How they compare
Myanmar currently reports 0.0479 Mt CO2e against 0.0422 Mt CO2e in Singapore, a difference of 0.0057 Mt CO2e.
That makes Myanmar's figure about 1.1 times Singapore's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Myanmar has been ahead every year.
Myanmar ranks 19th and Singapore ranks 20th of 100 countries.
Myanmar has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
