IDA blend vs Myanmar: Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions (total) excluding LULUCF
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions (total) excluding LULUCF over time
- IDA blend
- Myanmar
How they compare
Myanmar currently reports 607.5% against 84.7% in IDA blend, a difference of 522.8%.
That makes Myanmar's figure about 7.2 times IDA blend's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 34 shared years of data; in 1991 it was IDA blend ahead.
IDA blend ranks 29th and Myanmar ranks 26th of 45 groups.
Myanmar has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | IDA blend | Myanmar | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1990s | 10.1% | 52.0% | 41.9% | Myanmar |
| 2000s | 33.0% | 121.1% | 88.2% | Myanmar |
| 2010s | 55.2% | 366.3% | 311.1% | Myanmar |
| 2020s | 82.1% | 622.8% | 540.6% | Myanmar |
Averages of every year both report within each decade.

About this data
Change of emissions (as %) of current year with respect to emissions in baseline year 1990 emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the agriculture, energy, waste, and industrial sectors, excluding LULUCF.. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5). Negative values indicate that the emission level for that year is lower than the emissions level in 1990.
