Americas vs Kuwait: Crop residue removal — Cropland phosphorus per unit area
Crop residue removal — Cropland phosphorus per unit area over time
- Americas
- Kuwait
How they compare
Kuwait currently reports 3.9 kg/ha against 1.69 kg/ha in Americas, a difference of 2.21 kg/ha.
That makes Kuwait's figure about 2.3 times Americas's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Kuwait ahead.
Americas ranks 10th and Kuwait ranks 25th of 10 groups.
Kuwait has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Americas | Kuwait | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
