How they compare

Turkmenistan currently reports 362.44 kg/ha against 146.81 kg/ha in Americas, a difference of 215.63 kg/ha.

That makes Turkmenistan's figure about 2.5 times Americas's.

The two have swapped places 2 times across 32 shared years of data; in 1992 it was Turkmenistan ahead.

Americas ranks 6th and Turkmenistan ranks 8th of 32 groups.

Turkmenistan has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Americas Turkmenistan Difference Ahead
1990s 84.41 kg/ha 110.71 kg/ha 26.3 kg/ha Turkmenistan
2000s 102.48 kg/ha 132.58 kg/ha 30.1 kg/ha Turkmenistan
2010s 130.27 kg/ha 254.43 kg/ha 124.16 kg/ha Turkmenistan
2020s 145.01 kg/ha 332.99 kg/ha 187.98 kg/ha Turkmenistan

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
