Eastern Europe vs Qatar: Input — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Input — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Eastern Europe
- Qatar
How they compare
Qatar currently reports 227.45 kg/ha against 58.46 kg/ha in Eastern Europe, a difference of 168.99 kg/ha.
That makes Qatar's figure about 3.9 times Eastern Europe's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Qatar ahead.
Eastern Europe ranks 22nd and Qatar ranks 25th of 32 groups.
Qatar has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Eastern Europe | Qatar | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
