Equatorial Guinea vs Niger: Input — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Input — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Equatorial Guinea
- Niger
How they compare
Niger currently reports 12.1 kg/ha against 9.8 kg/ha in Equatorial Guinea, a difference of 2.3 kg/ha.
That makes Niger's figure about 1.2 times Equatorial Guinea's.
The two have swapped places 5 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Equatorial Guinea ahead.
Equatorial Guinea ranks 198th and Niger ranks 196th of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Equatorial Guinea averaged higher in 5 and Niger in 2.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
